Catch up time here.
* The banana question: Like Crystal I love fruits. Apples and bananas are my two favorites. So this is a tie.
* Canned pears are my picks.
* It's the artist in me. Love watching the commercials.

If you had the chance to learn a new hobby which of these would you pick?

Quilting

Pottery

Water color painting

I don't usually watch the Superbowl other than the half-time show so that is my answer to the first question.

Pottery would be my pick on learning a new hobby.

I already drive a Ford Explorer and I love it so that would be my choice on a new car.

I am currently organizing my office. Which of these do you hate about this chore?

going through all the paperwork

filing it in folders

shredding or ripping up what you do not want

I've driven all three at one time or another. I've always like Chevy so it's my pick.

When it comes to organizing things this is a tie. Hate doing all of it but needs to be done.

Where is your favorite place to display family pictures?

On the wall

On a shelving unit

Randomly throughout your house.

I am going to have to call this a three-way tie as I like having them on all the things you mentioned. On my computer desk I have some wonderful moments I shared with my husband when he was alive. God I miss him!

Had to take my mom for a check-up at the doctors before her eye surgery. When you go to the doctor or dental appointment usually they have magazines in the waiting room. Which one of the following would you take to pass the time.

Rolling Stone

Woman's Day

People

I would end up reading all three if the wait was long enough. With that said, I would probably pick People Magazine first.

What do you do first when getting ready for bed each night?

Check doors and windows making sure they are locked

Drink some water

Do some reading to relax.

Just before bedtime I usually drink some water. I am constantly thirsty due to my diabetes. Doors and windows have been secured early as my mom is a nut about this. Lately have not been reading even though I have a ton of books to get to but never seem to have time.

I was reading this magazine called "Reminisce" that contains articles about the old days. Which of these would interest you most?

The old way to advertise like on matchbooks, billboards, etc.

Young couples and how they met and fell in love.

Background history of some of the places of the beginning of Las Vegas.

WOW, this is a tough one. I think because of my art background I will go with the old way of Advertising. Sometimes when I am snooping through the thrift stores I will come across an old magazine or whatever with advertising done back in the 40's and 50's. Very cool stuff.

I'm getting ready for a trip to Nevada to see my daughter Kathrine. And to be there to help Phillip with Bryce while she gets ready to have her baby. What do you feel is the most exciting thing about having a new baby around?

The fact they are new born

Family line continues

Everything

I would say everything. Having a new baby is such a joy (cuddling them, feeding them, that first smile, powdered baby smell, etc.,etc., etc.)

If you won an all-expense paid vacation, where would you go of these three?

Las Vegas

New York

Canada

Side note: Where in Nevada are you going to?

worse chore - paperwork of any sorts

prefer place for pictures - the wall

magazine - Rolling Stone

before going to bed - normally lock the door

"Reminisce" - is a cool magazine so i'm calling this a tied

I didn't know have a baby is considered exciting.

all expense paid vacation - would have to check to see where Taylor Hicks is performing at. If he isn't then it would be a toss-up. I would be happy winning a trip to any of those place though my first choice would be - Vegas. It would be so fun to catch some great shows and entertainment there.

One show that still makes me laugh is 'I Love Lucy'. Besides Lucy and the Baby who is your favorite on the show? Ricky, Ethel or Fred

OMG....I would so go to New York. First stop: See Anderson Cooper's show. From there, all kinds of sight seeing: Time Square, Central Park, Broadway...you name it I'd visit it. I've already been to the other two places Las Vegas and Canada.

I loved the entire cast of the "I Love Lucy" show so it's pretty much a tie.

NOTE: Crystal, I'm going to Fernley which is about a 45 minute drive from Reno.

Tried a new cookie yesterday. It was delicious. Which of these flavors of cookies would you try?

White chocolate chip with raspberry

coconut/almond

peanut butter/chocolate swirl.

Okay Mae's questions first. Have to agree with Deni that the entire cast of the "I Love Lucy" was awesome so definitely a tie here.

On the old Testament I actually have studied some of each and found each interesting so another tie.

On the cookie question my first pick would be the peanut butter/chocolate one followed closely by the chocolate/raspberry one.

Deni I know where Fernley is as my hubby and I almost bought a house there. It is 28 miles from Reno. I live probably another 50 miles from there. When are you going (which dates)?

Now for my three question. I play alot of games on Pogo. Which of these would you play on a daily basis?

Word Whomp

Poppit

Any of the bingo games

On the Bible question....I, too, have read all three completely and have found them interesting in their own way.
The game I played the most was Word Whomp. My two grandsons loved helping me figure out the words.
Gotta admit I love those Ford commercials.

I've been visiting Dr's offices a lot since the first of the year. What makes you most nervous about going to the Dr?

Finding out what's really wrong

Possibility of going to the hospital

Dr's offices are simply nerve racking period.

I like the group performances the best.

Finding out what's really wrong usually has me on edge going to the doctor's office (usually my mind is put at rest once I actually see the doctor, hope it stays that way).

I'm taking my mom to the senior center for lunch today. They usually have some good food. Which of these main entrees would interest you?

Pulled Pork Sandwich

Stuffed Peppers

Hawaiian Chicken Breast

I recently went to Panda Express for lunch. Which of these plates would you order?

Sweet and Sour Chicken

Beef and Broccoli

Fried pork chow mien

(Opps! Sorry Crystal, I didn't get to answering your question. I'm leaving Tucson on March 12th. Will be in Fernley until about the middle of April)

I love Panda Express. My pick of these choices are sweet and sour chicken.

Got a yen for some M&M's today. Which of these do you like best?

Plain M&M

with peanut butter

with nuts

Deni, it would be great to finally meet in person while you are in Fernley. Any chance you would give me the phone number so I could call you and maybe arrange a meeting? If so send it to me via my e-mail address. It is concertcris@yahoo.com. Thanks!

Lemon

Mae, for your question I'm calling it a tie. It all depends on my mood on what kind of snack I eat.

I'm planning my trip to Nevada next month. There are several things I'm considering taking with me because I will be traveling by Greyhound bus. (I know. I must be crazy) Which of these things would you definitely have with you on a trip?

music

reading material

puzzle books

On Mae's question it depends on my mood for sure however I would probably lean toward the sweet as my top one.

Deni, I have taken the Greyhound bus several times in the past and definitely all three of the items you listed should be with you so this is a tie.

Speaking of being on the bus, which of these types of books would keep your attention during the trip?

a good mystery

a good romance

magazine articles
